Collaborative Art for School Auction

 It is auction time at North Beach Elementary. Here's a look at what the 3rd and 4th graders have created.

First step is collaging tissue paper with acrylic matte medium.

Everyone creates a crow for the (yarn)  wires.

Drawing Lesson Inspired byJoan Miro

Paintings and drawings inspired by the Spanish artist Joan Miro always have fabulous results with the kids. These are done by my home school class. The students range in age from 8-11.

Drawing Self Portraits

My 10 year olds worked very hard during the last 2 weeks on their self portraits. Step by step with very careful observations in a mirror, they finished with portraits they were very proud of!
